CONTRACT MANAGER – SECURITY & CLEANING SERVICES

Job Overview

Blue Nile Security & Cleaning Services is looking for an experienced and motivated Contract Manager / Business Development Manager to help us identify, secure and develop new contracts for our growing security and cleaning services business.

The Role

We are looking for someone with strong knowledge of the security and/or cleaning services industry who can actively seek out new business opportunities and secure contracts for the company.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

• Identifying potential security and cleaning contracts and business opportunities.
• Contacting businesses, organisations, property managers, local authorities and other potential clients.
• Developing relationships with prospective clients and decision-makers.
• Preparing and submitting quotations, tenders and proposals.
• Following up leads and negotiating contracts.
• Helping to bring new clients and contracts into the business.
• Maintaining good relationships with existing and new clients.
• Keeping management informed about new opportunities and progress.

Who We Are Looking For

The ideal candidate will have:

• Previous experience in contract management, business development, sales or procurement, preferably within security or cleaning services.
• A good understanding of how to identify and win service contracts.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Confidence approaching potential clients and generating new business.
• A strong network of business contacts would be an advantage.
• A self-motivated and results-focused approach.
• The ability to work independently and use their experience and contacts to generate opportunities.

Retired or semi-retired professionals with relevant experience are particularly encouraged to apply. We value experience, industry knowledge and established business relationships.

Salary / Remuneration

Salary is negotiable and will depend on experience, knowledge, existing contacts and results.

We are particularly interested in candidates who can demonstrate a proven ability to identify and secure new contracts. A performance-related arrangement may also be considered for the right candidate.
