Contract - Officer / Execuitve

Location : Forest City, Johor Bahru & Lake City Taman Wahyu, Kepong.

About the role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Cost & Contract/QS - Officer/Executve to join our team at Pacificview Development Group Sdn Bhd in Forest City Johor. This is a full-time role, and you will play a crucial part in supporting the delivery of our construction projects.

**For candidates with less experience and qualifications, the company will evaluate their overall capabilities and development potential, and match them with positions at a suitable pay & level.

What you'll be doing

• Preparing cost estimates, bills of quantities, and contract documents for construction projects
• Monitoring and controlling project costs, ensuring adherence to budgets
• Negotiating and administering contracts with suppliers and subcontractors
• Providing quantity surveying services, including site measurements and valuations
• Assisting in the preparation of tender documents and proposals
• Collaborating with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure the successful delivery of projects

What we're looking for

• Relevant degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field
• Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar role within the construction industry
• Proficient in reading and interpreting construction drawings, specifications, and contracts
• Strong understanding of construction cost estimating, budgeting, and cost control techniques
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team
• Proficiency in Mandarin and English languages, both written and spoken. We are seeking candidates proficient in Mandarin to effectively communicate with Mandarin-speaking clients.
• Knowledge of relevant construction regulations, standards, and industry best practices
