Position Summary

Peace Village Senior Living is seeking an experienced Contract Painter with a minimum of 10 years of professional painting experience to assist with painting and maintaining our residential apartments, common areas, and other community spaces. The ideal candidate is dependable, detail-oriented, and takes pride in delivering high-quality work while maintaining a clean, safe environment for our residents and staff.

Responsibilities

• Perform interior and exterior painting as needed throughout the community.
• Prepare surfaces by patching, sanding, caulking, priming, and repairing minor imperfections.
• Apply paint, stains, and finishes using appropriate tools and techniques.
• Protect furniture, flooring, fixtures, and surrounding areas during painting projects.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area and properly store equipment and materials.
• Complete projects in a timely and professional manner while minimizing disruption to residents and daily operations.
• Follow all applicable safety procedures and maintain a safe working environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 10 years of professional painting experience.
• Extensive knowledge of painting techniques, surface preparation, and finishing.
• Ability to work independently and complete projects with minimal supervision.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
• Ability to manage time effectively and meet project deadlines.
• Must be reliable, professional, and respectful when working in a senior living environment.
• Ability to provide and maintain personal painting tools and equipment, as required.

Work Environment

This position will work throughout Peace Village Senior Living, including resident apartments, common areas, and other community facilities. Professionalism, courtesy, and consideration for residents are essenential.
