CONTRACT Review Manager

TruLegal is representing a highly regarded and specialized law firm seeking an experienced Review Manager on a contract basis to oversee a team of up to 25 document review attorneys. This hands-on role offers the opportunity to oversee day-to-day review workflows, drive quality and productivity, manage team performance, and serve as the primary liaison between the review team and firm counsel on sophisticated, deadline-driven matters. The ideal candidate has significant experience managing high-volume document reviews, strong expertise in privilege review and privilege log preparation, and a proactive management style with the ability to quickly identify and address performance or workflow issues, along with fluency in Relativity. Antitrust or regulatory review experience is preferred. Candidates must be licensed attorneys in good standing. The initial contract duration is approximately 3 months, subject to extension.

Key qualifications:

• Demonstrated experience managing and coordinating contract attorney teams of up to 25 reviewers in high-volume, deadline-driven matters
• Proactive management style, including early identification of top performers and underperformers, with prompt escalation and corrective action as needed
• Strong background in privilege review and privilege log preparation, including familiarity with privilege calls, redactions, and log QC
• Hands-on, do-whatever-it-takes approach to meeting production deadlines and matter milestones
• Serves as the primary communication channel between the review team and Counsel, providing regular progress reporting and flagging issues in real time
• Antitrust or regulatory review experience preferred (e.g., DOJ, FTC, or similar government investigations)
• Prior experience in law firm settings preferred; candidates with combined law firm and vendor/ALSP backgrounds also acceptable
