Contract Site Manager

Your New Company:
Join a well-established fit-out and refurbishment contractor with a strong pipeline of commercial office, healthcare, laboratory and education projects across Sydney.

Your New Role:
Reporting to the Project Manager, you will take full responsibility for the day-to-day site management of fit-out and refurbishment projects ranging from commercial office upgrades through to specialist laboratory and education facility refurbishments.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Managing all on-site construction activities from start to completion
• Coordinating subcontractors, suppliers and site labour
• Driving program and ensuring key milestones are achieved
• Managing site safety and ensuring compliance with WHS legislation
• Conducting site inductions, toolbox talks and subcontractor management
• Liaising with clients, consultants and project stakeholders
• Monitoring quality control and defect management processes
• Managing procurement, deliveries and site logistics
• Maintaining project documentation and reporting progress to the Project Manager
• Ensuring works are delivered within live and operational environments with minimal disruption

What You'll Need to Succeed:

• Proven experience as a Site Manager on commercial fit-out projects
• Experience delivering office, healthcare, laboratory, education or institutional projects
• Strong knowledge of construction methodologies, safety requirements and quality processes
• Excellent subcontractor management and coordination skills
• Ability to work within occupied and live environments
• Trade qualification or relevant construction background highly regarded
• Current White Card
• First Aid Certificate preferred
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
