Position Overview

Rajtattva Innovations S.A. is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Contract Specialist to support the preparation, review, negotiation, administration, and management of commercial and service agreements.

The successful candidate will work closely with legal, procurement, finance, project management, technology, and business teams to ensure contracts accurately reflect business requirements while managing commercial risks, obligations, deadlines, and compliance requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Draft, review, and manage contracts, agreements, amendments, statements of work, and related documentation.
• Analyze contractual terms, conditions, obligations, deliverables, payment schedules, and risks.
• Coordinate contract negotiations with clients, suppliers, vendors, consultants, and business partners.
• Monitor contract performance, milestones, renewal dates, deliverables, and compliance requirements.
• Maintain accurate and organized contract records and documentation.
• Identify contractual risks and escalate significant issues to management or legal counsel.
• Support procurement and vendor-management activities, including contract evaluation and negotiation.
• Review proposed changes, amendments, extensions, and contract variations.
• Ensure contractual requirements align with applicable company policies and regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with finance teams regarding pricing, payment terms, invoicing requirements, and commercial conditions.
• Track contractual commitments and ensure relevant stakeholders understand their responsibilities.
• Prepare contract summaries, reports, status updates, and risk assessments for management.
• Support dispute resolution and claims-management processes when required.
• Assist with contract closeout, renewals, extensions, and termination activities.
• Recommend improvements to contract-management procedures and internal controls.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Contract Management, Law, Procurement, Supply Chain Management, Finance, or a related field.
• Proven experience in contract administration, contract management, procurement, commercial operations, or a related position.
• Strong understanding of commercial contracts, contractual terms, obligations, and risk management.
• Experience reviewing and negotiating agreements with customers, suppliers, vendors, or service providers.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to identify inconsistencies, risks, and missing contractual requirements.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong negotiation and stakeholder-management abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple contracts, deadlines, and priorities simultaneously.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office or comparable business and contract-management software.
• Strong organizational and documentation skills.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality when handling sensitive commercial information.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience supporting contracts in the mining, energy, technology, engineering, or industrial sectors.
• Knowledge of Chilean commercial and contractual requirements.
• Experience with technology-service agreements, software contracts, SaaS agreements, or IT procurement.
• Familiarity with procurement processes and supplier management.
• Experience managing contracts involving large projects, technical services, or enterprise clients.
• Knowledge of contract lifecycle management (CLM) systems.
• Experience with risk registers, compliance tracking, and contract-performance reporting.
• Professional certification in contract management, procurement, or commercial management.
• Legal or paralegal experience is an advantage.
• Professional-level English is an advantage for reviewing international agreements.
