Contract Transformation Director

For our client, we are seeking a Contract Transformation Director to join the team of a leader in the Energy & Utilities space.

This role will guide strategic contract compliance and operational improvement efforts within a municipal water business. The director will shape transformation methodologies, mobilize teams, and support ongoing operations while partnering closely with executive leadership and operational stakeholders. A key focus will be establishing strong governance, digital tracking, and performance discipline across multiple contract workstreams. This position is well suited for a leader who can drive complex programs, support compliance, and help improve delivery outcomes in a highly regulated utility environment.

Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available

Compensation: $120,000 – $150,000 annually

Responsibilities

• Drive and oversee strategic initiatives for contract compliance in the municipal water business.
• Develop contract transformation methodologies, objectives, and integration strategies.
• Lead staffing organization for mobilization efforts and ongoing operations.
• Implement digital tools for tracking contract deliverables and compliance.
• Conduct compliance reviews and establish performance baselines for contracts.
• Encourage and develop the contract transformation team while representing it at the executive level.
• Manage multiple projects to ensure timely completion within budget.

Qualifications

• 9+ years of progressive experience in operations and maintenance or engineering fields.
• Extensive experience managing departments and collaborating with operational teams.
• Several years in management consulting, project management, or operational improvement roles.
• Strong commitment to compliance with laws and organizational policies.
• Municipal water or wastewater treatment expertise preferred.
