Contract - VMC Programmer & Operator

Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled VMC Programmer & Operator to program, set up, and operate Vertical Machining Centers (VMC) to produce precision components as per engineering drawings and quality standards. The candidate should be hands-on, detail-oriented, and capable of working independently.

Key Responsibilities

• Program VMC machines using G-code / M-code
• Develop CNC programs using CAD/CAM software (Mastercam / Fusion 360 / NX / SolidCAM, etc.)
• Set up tools, fixtures, and workpieces on VMC machines
• Operate VMC machines to manufacture precision components
• Read and interpret engineering drawings and GD&T
• Perform tool offset setting, job prove-out, and cycle optimization
• Monitor machining operations and make necessary adjustments
• Inspect finished components using measuring instruments (vernier, micrometer, bore gauge, CMM, etc.)
• Maintain machine condition and follow preventive maintenance schedules
• Ensure adherence to quality, safety, and production standards
• Reduce cycle time and improve productivity
• Coordinate with production, quality, and design teams

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent, Fresher

Pay: ₹350,000.00 - ₹650,000.00 per year
