Contractor Trainee Pole Inspector

Service Stream Maintenance currently have positions in Sydney for trainee asset inspection contractors interested in learning the skills required to become a power pole inspector in a niche market.

If you have an enthusiastic attitude, a passion for the great outdoors and like the idea of being in charge of your own earning capacity and setting your own future, then come join our team in the Power North Division. You will be reporting to the Project Manager and working in Sydney or The Upper Hunter.

To be a successful participant you’ll be a subcontractor and are required to be set up with a PTY LTD company; you also will have your own work-related 4WD vehicle/ hand tools combined with all the relevant and required insurances. The traineeship usually takes approx. 3 months, and you will be paid a competitive hourly rate to complete this traineeship and to become a qualified pole inspector. Once qualified you will then be working on a schedule of rates contract where you control your own earning capacity.

Essential Requirements:

• Own 4WD vehicle ute
• PTY LTD Company with ABN
• Relevant insurances - Workers compensation and Public Liability.
• Current Drivers Licence
• Clear police check no older than 6 months.
• OH&S White Card
