We are currently seeking an experienced Contract / Project Manager to join a well-established civil construction business delivering a range of infrastructure and civil projects.

This is an opportunity for an experienced construction professional who enjoys taking ownership of projects from planning and mobilisation through to completion, while leading teams, managing subcontractors and ensuring strong commercial and delivery outcomes.

About the Role:

As a Contract / Project Manager, you will take responsibility for the successful delivery of civil construction projects, working closely with clients, consultants, subcontractors and internal teams.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Managing projects from commencement through to successful completion.
• Leading and coordinating site teams, subcontractors, suppliers and plant.
• Managing project programmes, budgets, costs, forecasting and commercial performance.
• Ensuring projects are delivered safely, efficiently and to the required quality standards.
• Managing client relationships and maintaining strong communication throughout the project lifecycle.
• Identifying and managing project risks, variations and commercial opportunities.
• Coordinating multiple work fronts and ensuring resources are effectively planned and utilised.
• Providing leadership and direction to site-based teams.
• Ensuring compliance with relevant specifications, contractual requirements, health and safety standards and environmental requirements.

About You:

We are looking for an experienced civil construction professional who can demonstrate:

• Proven experience in a Contract Manager, Project Manager, or Senior Project Engineer within the civil construction or infrastructure sector.
• A strong practical understanding of civil construction and project delivery.
• Experience managing projects involving multiple subcontractors, suppliers and work streams.
• Strong commercial awareness, including cost control, forecasting, variations and contract management.
• The ability to lead and motivate teams while maintaining a strong focus on safety, quality and delivery.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills with clients, subcontractors and stakeholders.
• A proactive, solutions-focused approach and the ability to remain calm and effective under pressure.
• Relevant civil construction qualifications or significant industry experience.
