Contracts Administrator (Building Construction)

About Us

Our client is an established and highly respected construction contractor is seeking an experienced Contract Administrator to join the team on a landmark residential high-rise project in Adelaide.

This is an exciting opportunity to work on a major development from the early stages through to completion, supporting project delivery through strong commercial and contractual management..

About the role:

• Administer head contracts and subcontract agreements
• Manage procurement activities and subcontractor packages
• Process progress claims, variations and payment schedules
• Monitor project costs, budgets and contractual compliance
• Support project teams with commercial and contractual advice
• Maintain project documentation and reporting through construction management systems

Skills and Experience:

• Degree qualified in Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, Building or a related discipline
• Minimum 3 years' experience in a Contract Administrator, Project Coordinator or commercial construction role
• Previous experience with a head contractor is highly regarded
• Sound understanding of construction contracts, legislation and industry regulations
• Strong commercial acumen and attention to detail
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
• Experience using CHEOPS, Aconex or similar construction management software
