Contracts Administrator

About the role

This full-time Contracts Administrator role with Geraldton Building Services & Cabinets Pty Ltd offers an exciting opportunity to join an established construction company in Geraldton, WA.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinating the delivery of materials, equipment, and labour to construction sites
• Monitoring project progress and addressing any issues that arise to keep projects on schedule
• Ensuring compliance with all relevant building codes, safety regulations, and company policies
• Providing progress reports to project managers and clients
• Identifying opportunities for process improvements and implementing cost-saving measures
• Liaising with subcontractors and suppliers to resolve any problems

About you

• Experience (Min 2 year) as a Contract Administrator or in a similar supervisory role in the construction industry

• Proficient in the use of construction management software and tools

• Thorough knowledge of construction methods, materials, and equipment

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively manage crews and liaise with clients

• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills

• Ability to read and interpret construction plans, specifications, and blueprints

• Demonstrated commitment to safety and quality standards

• Relevant trade qualifications or certifications

• Current C Class Drivers Licence
