Contracts Analyst (Commodities / MNC)

We are hiring an experienced a Contracts Administrator for one of our clients in the agricultural commodities trading sector. The role will be responsible for managing the drafting, review, negotiation, and administration of trade contracts, ensuring accuracy, risk mitigation, and alignment with commercial trading terms.

Responsibilities:

• Draft, review, amend, and manage trade contracts for agricultural commodities
• Ensure contract terms are clear, accurate, and aligned with commercial agreements and trading practices
• Liaise with counterparties to review comments and resolve discrepancies in contractual terms
• Identify potential contractual and operational risks and ensure proper documentation is maintained
• Work closely with traders, operations, and finance teams to ensure smooth contract execution
• Support internal stakeholders by advising on contract terms, clauses, and structures
• Review and maintain standard contract templates and ensure alignment with industry standards (e.g., GAFTA / FOSFA where applicable)
• Ensure compliance with internal policies, regulatory requirements, and company procedures

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business or related field with at least 3 years of experience handling contracts within commodity trading, preferably in agricultural commodities
• Strong communication and coordination skills with the ability to work across commercial and operations teams
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational and documentation skills
