Contracts & Procurement Manager

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Contracts & Procurement Manager to support global contracting, procurement, and site agreement activities for clinical research projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for drafting, reviewing, negotiating, and managing agreements with sponsors, vendors, consultants, and clinical research sites while ensuring compliance with company policies, regulatory requirements, and sponsor expectations.

This role will work closely with project teams, finance, operations, and external stakeholders to ensure contracts and procurement activities are completed efficiently and aligned with clinical trial timelines and business objectives.

Responsibilities

• Draft, review, negotiate, and manage sponsor, vendor, consultant, and service agreements
• Manage confidentiality agreements, MSAs, SOWs, purchase orders, and contract amendments
• Draft and negotiate Clinical Trial Agreements (CTAs), site contracts, CDAs, start-up agreements, and related documents
• Support site budget negotiations and contract execution
• Identify contractual risks and recommend mitigation strategies
• Maintain contract documentation and tracking systems
• Support vendor selection, procurement processes, and contract lifecycle management
• Ensure compliance with company, sponsor, and regulatory requirements
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to support study timelines and operational goals
• Assist with contract and procurement activities for government-funded research projects when applicable

Qualifications

• Qualified Attorney or Bachelor's Degree in Law
• Minimum of 2-3 years of clinical research experience
• Experience with Clinical Trial Agreements (CTAs) and site contracts
• Strong contract drafting, review, and negotiation skills
• Experience managing vendor and consultant agreements
• Excellent communication, organizational, and stakeholder management skills
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience within a CRO, pharmaceutical, or clinical research organization
• Experience supporting international clinical trials
• Knowledge of ICH-GCP and clinical trial processes
• Experience with contract management platforms, SharePoint, Salesforce, or similar systems
• Experience with procurement and vendor management processes
