Contracts Manager

Responsibilities:

• Variation Management & Evaluation: Assess, and negotiate variation claims for additional works; and substantiate claims for rate adjustments or star rates under changing site conditions.
• Claims Assessment & Preparation: Prepare, evaluate, and substantiate claims for extension of time (EOT), loss and expense, disruption, and acceleration, fluctuation, etc.
• Delay Analysis: Conduct detailed delay and disruption analyses using standard methodologies (e.g., Impacted As-Planned, Time Impact Analysis, As-Built vs. As-Planned).
• Quantum & Cost Evaluation: Perform quantum assessments and analyze financial records.
• Dispute Resolution Support: Assist in mediation, arbitration, and litigation proceedings.
• Contract Administration: Review contract terms, identify potential contractual risks, and provide strategic advisory to project teams.
• Report Writing: Draft comprehensive, high-quality technical and quantum claims reports.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Professional membership in MRICS, MHKIS, MCIArb, or equivalent is highly preferred.
• Minimum 10+ years of experience in construction claim management, quantity surveying, or dispute resolution.
• Proven track records of handling successful claims in major civil engineering, building, or infrastructure projects.
