Contracts Manager

Role & responsibilities

1. Provide enterprise-level leadership and strategic direction for Procurement & Contracts.
2. Define procurement policies, sourcing strategies, and governance frameworks.
3. Drive long-term cost optimization, vendor partnerships, and value engineering initiatives.

1. Build and lead a high-performing procurement organization.
2. Support claims management, dispute resolution, and contractual risk mitigation.
3. Represent procurement at leadership and steering committee levels.

9. Build, lead, and mentor a high-performing multi-location procurement team, including Senior Managers, Managers, Assistant Managers, Engineers, and support staff.
10. Define clear roles, responsibilities, and performance expectations, aligned with organizational goals, procurement strategy, and project delivery timelines.
11. Drive capability development and succession planning through structured training programs, mentoring, and leadership grooming initiatives.
12. Promote a culture of continuous learning and knowledge sharing, encouraging adoption of best practices, innovation, and digital procurement tools.
13. Partner with HR and leadership teams to support talent acquisition, onboarding, and retention of high-caliber procurement professionals.
14. Encourage cross-functional collaboration between Procurement, Projects, QS, Contracts, Finance, Design, and Quality teams to ensure seamless project execution.
15. Foster an environment of ethical conduct, transparency, and integrity in all procurement activities and people interactions.
16. Provide regular coaching, feedback, and performance reviews, enabling team members to achieve both individual and organizational objectives.
