Contracts Manager (Remote)

For our client, we are seeking a Contracts Manager (Remote) to join the team of a leader in the Aerospace & Defense space.

This role will own end-to-end contract administration across the full lifecycle, from proposal support through closeout, with a focus on protecting the organization’s interests and supporting profitable outcomes. The position partners closely with internal teams and external customers to review requirements, interpret terms, and manage risk in a highly regulated environment. It also provides strategic guidance on contractual rights, obligations, and issue resolution while balancing urgent priorities across multiple active contracts.

Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available

Compensation: $107,500 – $204,500 annually

Responsibilities

• Manage cradle-to-grave contract management processes from proposal to closeout
• Communicate effectively with internal and external customers to support profitable outcomes
• Oversee contractual scope and terms to ensure compliance with contract obligations
• Collaborate with teams to analyze RFPs and support contract administration
• Resolve complex contractual issues through critical thinking and collaboration
• Provide strategic advice regarding contractual rights, obligations, and risk mitigation
• Multitask across various contract activities and respond to urgent requirements

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 8 years of relevant experience, or a Master's degree with 5 years of experience
• Must be able to obtain a DoD Security Clearance
• Experience with fixed-price and cost-type contracts under FAR and DFARS regulations
• Prior experience leading negotiations for contracts
• Familiarity with the Truth in Negotiations Act (TINA) process
