Control Pane Assembler

Duravex is seeking a detail-oriented Control Panel Assembler to join our electrical team. In this role, you’ll be responsible for assembling UL 508A industrial control panels and subassemblies used across our engineered equipment and turnkey systems. The ideal candidate is hands-on, dependable, and takes pride in clean, high-quality electrical work.

Key Responsibilities

· Assemble control panels from schematics, wiring diagrams, and layout drawings.

· Mount and wire electrical components, including terminal blocks, circuit breakers, relays, power supplies, and PLCs.

· Cut, strip, crimp, and route wires neatly and per panel layout specifications.

· Inspect completed panels for proper labeling, continuity, workmanship, and compliance with UL 508A standards.

· Use basic hand and power tools, including drills, wire strippers, multimeters, and torque drivers.

· Communicate with supervisors and engineers to resolve discrepancies or clarify build requirements.

· Follow all safety protocols and contribute to a clean, organized work environment.

Qualifications

· 1+ years of experience in control panel assembly, industrial electrical wiring, or similar role.

· Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and panel layout drawings.

· Familiarity with standard panel components (e.g., contactors, relays, VFDs, PLCs).

· Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality.

· High school diploma or GED required; technical training or certification a plus.

Preferred Traits

· Steady, reliable, and able to work with minimal supervision.

· Familiar with UL 508A panel standards (training provided if needed).

· Able to work cooperatively with engineering and production teams.

· Willing to cross-train on related assembly tasks as needed.

Work Schedule

Full-time, day shift (typically 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM, Monday through Friday). Occasional overtime may be required based on project schedules.

Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
