Overview
We are seeking a skilled Control Panel Technician to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in both electrical and mechanical knowledge, with the ability to assemble and maintain control panels effectively. This role is crucial in ensuring that our systems operate efficiently and meet the highest standards of quality.

Duties

• Assemble control panels according to specifications and schematics.
• Utilise hand tools and power tools to perform assembly tasks.
• Conduct testing and troubleshooting of logic controllers and other electronic components.
• Implement surface mount technology for circuit board assembly.
• Collaborate with engineers to ensure designs meet operational requirements.
• Maintain a clean and organised work environment, adhering to safety protocols.
• Document assembly processes and maintain accurate records of work performed.

Requirements

• Proven electrical and mechanical knowledge is essential.
• Experience with hand tools and power tools is required.
• Familiarity with logic controllers and their applications is advantageous.
• Knowledge of surface mount technology will be considered a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow precise instructions.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
