Control Panel Wiring Technician

About the job

We are looking for an Control Panel Wiring Technician with hands-on experience in industrial electrical panel wiring and assembly. The role involves wiring, component mounting, cable termination, ferruling, labeling and inspection of electrical and automation panels at our manufacturing facility.

What will you do?

• Wire and assemble electrical control and industrial automation panels.
• Read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams and panel layouts.
• Perform cable termination, ferruling, wire routing, labeling and component installation.
• Verify wiring against electrical drawings and project specifications.
• Conduct continuity checks, insulation checks and functional testing as required.
• Troubleshoot wiring issues and maintain quality and electrical safety standards.
• Support panel inspection and testing activities as required.

This is a hands-on manufacturing role involving panel assembly, wiring, component mounting, termination, ferruling and inspection at our production facility.

What are the key skills we are looking for:

• Hands-on electrical panel wiring and assembly experience.
• Ability to read and understand electrical drawings and schematics.
• Knowledge of electrical components, terminals, cables and panel accessories.
• Basic troubleshooting and panel testing knowledge.
• AutoCAD knowledge is an added advantage.

What qualifications will make you successful:

• ITI / Diploma in Electrical, Electronics or a related technical discipline.
• Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience in electrical control panel wiring and assembly.
• Experience with MCC/PCC, PLC or drive panels is preferred.
• AutoCAD is an added advantage.
