Control Room Manager

Job Overview

As Control Room Manager, you will lead the team responsible for monitoring operations, coordinating responses and keeping communication clear. Your calm judgement and organised approach will help maintain safe, effective control room operations.

Duties

• Lead and support staff, setting clear priorities and promoting consistent procedures.
• Monitor systems, assess incidents and coordinate timely responses with relevant teams.
• Apply emergency management procedures, keeping accurate records and sharing essential updates.
• Your impact: Clear coordination during incidents helps colleagues respond safely and enables affected people to receive timely support.
• Maintain readiness for emergencies, including first aid arrangements and escalation processes.

Experience

• Demonstrable leadership skills, ideally in a control room, operations or emergency response setting.
• Experience coordinating incidents or applying emergency management procedures is desirable.
• Strong communication, decision-making and record-keeping skills.

Qualifications

• A Levels or equivilant
• Confident in microsoft office and various IT based equipment.
• SIA Licence preferred
• Full UK driving licence

Pay: £14.50 per hour

Expected hours: 40.0 – 60.0 per week

Education:

• A-Level or equivalent (preferred)

Experience:

• Management: 3 years (preferred)
