Control Room Operator - Direct Hire

Responsible for monitoring and controlling plant operations through the control room system, ensuring that equipment and production processes operate safely, efficiently, and according to established standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor plant equipment, machinery, and production processes through control panels and monitoring systems.
• Operate and adjust equipment controls to maintain proper operating conditions.
• Monitor temperature, pressure, levels, flow rates, and other operating parameters.
• Detect abnormal conditions, alarms, equipment malfunctions, and operational issues.
• Coordinate with maintenance and production personnel regarding equipment problems and required interventions.
• Record operating data, production readings, incidents, and equipment status accurately.
• Conduct routine checks and report irregularities to the supervisor.
• Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs), safety rules, and emergency protocols.
• Assist in troubleshooting and restarting equipment after maintenance or operational interruptions.
• Maintain cleanliness, organization, and proper documentation in the control room.
• Perform other duties assigned by the supervisor.

Qualifications

• High school graduate; vocational or technical course graduate is preferred.
• With experience as a Control Room Operator, Machine Operator, Production Operator, or similar position is an advantage.
• Basic knowledge of industrial machinery, production processes, and control systems.
• Able to understand and monitor gauges, meters, alarms, and control panel readings.
• Basic troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Computer literate and capable of recording and monitoring operational data.
• Good attention to detail and ability to respond quickly to abnormal operating conditions.
• Physically and mentally capable of working in a shifting schedule.
• Safety-conscious and able to follow company procedures and instructions.
• Willing to work overtime when necessary.
• Experience in feed mill, manufacturing, or industrial plant operations is an advantage.
