Control Room Operator – Night Shift

We are currently recruiting a Control Room Operator for our night shift at our Dandenong South beverage and food manufacturing facility, reporting to the Night Shift Team Leader.

The role will suit an experienced production operator who is confident working with SCADA systems and highly automated processing equipment. We want someone who is hands on, quick to fault find, and wants to build a career with our company.

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitoring all control systems for the processing site
• Troubleshooting and rectifying faults as they arise
• Monitoring all processing flows, including CIP
• Managing the arrival of bulk liquids
• Maintaining accurate production records
• Recording and reporting maintenance requirements
• Maintaining calibration of sensors and probes (training provided)
• Diagnosing valve controller faults

About You:

Successful applicants will possess the following:

• Minimum 5 years experience in a production role in an automated environment
• Food and beverage industry experience (essential)
• Experience operating SCADA control systems such as Citect and Ignition
• Experience with process equipment such as Alfa Laval valves, Tetra gasket replacement and mechanical seals
• Ability to fault find in a timely manner
• Strong organisation skills, working on your own and in a team
• Excellent communication skills
• Demonstrated commitment to safety and quality
• Recognised qualifications (highly regarded)

Working hours are predominately weekdays 9pm to 5am, with some flexibility required to meet the needs of the business.

Made’s facility is a clean and organised work environment and operates on a three shift basis.

Pay: From $31.50 per hour

Ability to commute/relocate:
