If you're a few years into controls and still being sent from site to site, this is the other way of doing it.

You'd join an engineering team of 10 to 15 and split your week between their office and a large manufacturing plant a short drive up the road. The senior engineers train people hands on.

The work is funded.

Your medical premium is paid in full on the base plan, and there's a year end profit share on top of salary.

The platform is mostly Rockwell and ladder logic is the main requirement. If you've written and debugged it on a running line, you're in range. You don't need Ignition or DCS, and you don't need to be the most senior engineer in the market. Two to five years in automotive, mining, packaging or machine building would all fit.

The company is a vendor independent integrator that's been going since the nineties, so the work that follows this project runs across Rockwell, Siemens, DCS and SCADA rather than one plant's standards.
