Control System Engineer (SCADA / PLC / Automation)

• Position: Control System Engineer (SCADA / PLC / Automation)
• Location: International Business Park (Nearest MRT: Jurong East walking distance)
• Working hours: 5 days a week, Monday - Friday, 8.30 am - 5.30 pm
• Salary (commensurate with experience): Up to $7000 + AWS + Medical/ Dental Allowance
• Duration: Permanent
• Industry: Building Automation / BMS / HVAC Controls

Main Responsibilities:

• Develop and configure automation system applications and graphical user interfaces.
• Plan system configurations and prepare control schematics, wiring diagrams and field termination drawings.
• Set up and maintain system databases, control narratives and functional descriptions.
• Prepare testing and commissioning documentation.
• Conduct Factory Acceptance Testing to verify system functionality and performance.
• Troubleshoot system configuration and integration issues during project execution.
• Coordinate with project teams, engineers, vendors and customers on system implementation.
• Provide technical support during site testing, commissioning and project handover.
• Ensure engineering deliverables meet company standards, client requirements and industry regulations.

Requirements:

• Degree in Electrical, Electronics, Mechanical, Mechatronics Engineering or related discipline.
• Experience in automation systems, SCADA, PLC programming, control systems or system integration will be advantageous.
• Knowledge of SCADA, Python or PLC programming will be advantageous.
• Able to read and prepare control schematics, wiring diagrams and technical documentation.
• Good analytical, troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication and coordination skills with internal teams, vendors and customers.
• Able to work independently and collaboratively in a project environment.
