Control Systems Administrator

Control Systems Administrator | Louisiana / Gulf Coast Region | Permanent

HW3 is seeking an experienced Control Systems Administrator for a permanent opportunity supporting industrial/process control environments. This is a field-based position involving customer-site support and travel within the region.

What You'll Be Doing:

• Install, configure, maintain and troubleshoot industrial DCS/control-system environments.

• Support control-system servers, workstations, networks and associated infrastructure.

• Administer Windows-based systems and virtualized environments.

• Support system backups, patching, upgrades and lifecycle maintenance.

• Assist with system installations, commissioning, startup and troubleshooting.

• Provide onsite technical support across industrial customer environments.

Must-Have Requirements:

• 4/5 years minimum of relevant control systems / industrial IT-OT experience.

• Hands-on DCS/control-system support experience in industrial/process environments.

• Strong Windows Server, Active Directory and DNS experience.

• Experience with VMware, Hyper-V or similar virtualization technologies .

• Industrial networking experience, including switches, firewalls and control-system networks .

• Experience with DCS installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, upgrades and/or commissioning.

• Chemical, petrochemical, refining, oil & gas, manufacturing or similar process-industry experience.
