Control Systems Development Engineer (T3000 & PCS 7)

We are looking for an experienced Control Systems Development Engineer to join a dynamic engineering team focused on advanced industrial automation and turbine control applications. In this role, you will contribute to the development, configuration, maintenance, and continuous improvement of control system solutions using SIMATIC SPPA-T3000 and PCS 7 platforms.

Working closely with multidisciplinary engineering teams, you will support the integration of control systems into complex industrial equipment while ensuring high standards of safety, quality, reliability, and cybersecurity.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, engineer, and maintain control system applications using T3000 and PCS 7 .
• Design and configure:
• Control logic
• Sequences and interlocks
• HMI/Operator Station displays
• Alarm management systems
• Reporting functions
• Collaborate with project teams to deliver technical solutions that meet project and product requirements.
• Support software lifecycle activities including configuration management, version control, testing, and validation.
• Integrate field instrumentation and third-party subsystems.
• Work with industrial communication protocols such as:
• Profibus
• Profinet
• Modbus TCP
• OPC
• Apply industry best practices related to safety, quality, and cybersecurity.
• Contribute to process improvements and continuously share knowledge within the engineering team.

Required Qualifications

• Several years of experience in industrial automation and control systems engineering.
• Strong hands-on experience with SIMATIC SPPA-T3000 .
• Working knowledge of PCS 7 .
• Ability to interpret technical documentation including:
• P&IDs
• Wiring diagrams
• Loop sheets
• Instrument datasheets
• Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to continuous improvement.
• Excellent communication skills in English.
• Experience working in multicultural and international environments.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in one or more of the following areas would be considered an advantage:

• MATLAB or other modeling and simulation tools
• Functional Safety (SIL)
• Industrial Cybersecurity
• System Networking
• Virtualization technologies (VMware)
