🚨 WE’RE HIRING – MULTIPLE CONTROL SYSTEMS ENGINEERING ROLES | IRVING, TX

Nippon Sanso Matheson (NSM) is expanding our Control Systems Engineering team and is currently hiring for multiple full-time positions at our Irving, Texas location:

🔹 Junior Control Systems Engineer | $120,000–$140,000

🔹 Senior Control Systems Engineer | $130,000–$150,000

These are excellent opportunities for controls and automation engineers interested in working on large-scale Air Separation Unit (ASU) projects from initial engineering and programming through commissioning and plant start-up.

Both positions work closely with our Control Systems Manager, project managers, vendor engineers, field technicians, and contractors to develop, integrate, commission, and support the control systems that operate NSM's ASU facilities.

WHAT YOU’LL WORK WITH

Our Control Systems Engineers work across multiple industrial automation technologies, including:

• Siemens SIMATIC S7 and SIMATIC S5/CTI

• Allen-Bradley PLC platforms

• Inductive Automation / Ignition

• Siemens WinCC and SIMATIC HMI

• Industrial control systems and plant networking

• SCADA and plant equipment integration

• FAT and SAT testing

• Commissioning, troubleshooting, and plant start-up

For our Senior-level position , we're also looking for experience with communication protocols including OPC UA, MODBUS RTU/TCP and PROFINET , as well as the ability to develop PLC logic using ladder logic, structured text and VB script.

JUNIOR CONTROL SYSTEMS ENGINEER

💰 Salary Range: $120,000–$140,000

This position is focused on developing the initial control system framework for new ASU projects and is a strong opportunity for an engineer looking to continue building hands-on experience in industrial controls.

Key responsibilities include:

• Developing initial PLC programming frameworks for new ASU plant control systems

• Developing HMI visualization

• Developing control-system hardware configurations and plant network architecture

• Supporting commissioning, maintenance and troubleshooting during plant start-up

• Coordinating with engineering, project and field teams

• Supporting FAT and SAT activities

Experience: Minimum of 2 years of control systems programming experience, or 5 years of equivalent experience.

SENIOR CONTROL SYSTEMS ENGINEER

💰 Salary Range: $130,000–$150,000

The Senior position takes on a deeper level of programming, integration and technical responsibility throughout the lifecycle of our ASU control systems.

Key responsibilities include:

• Completing PLC programming for new ASU plant control systems

• Integrating plant equipment including SCADA, low- and medium-voltage electrical systems, analyzers and sampling systems

• Providing commissioning and troubleshooting support during plant start-up

• Supporting FAT and SAT activities

• Helping develop NSM programming standards and reusable library functions

• Assisting with training and certification of technicians and operations teammates

• Interpreting and modifying PLC wiring diagrams, P&IDs, control narratives and logic diagrams

Experience: Minimum of 5 years of control systems programming experience, or 10 years of equivalent experience.

🎓 EDUCATION

Both positions require a Bachelor's degree in Engineering from an ABET-accredited university.

✈️ TRAVEL

Both positions require approximately 50% domestic travel , primarily in support of engineering projects, commissioning and ASU plant start-ups.
