Control Tower Head

Job Summary

At AbleCold, real-time visibility and proactive operational management are essential for delivering reliable cold-chain services. As the Control Tower Head, you will lead the central operations monitoring function, oversee vehicle and shipment movements, manage exceptions, and coordinate with multiple teams to ensure smooth and timely operations.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the Control Tower function for real-time monitoring of vehicles, shipments, and operations.
• Monitor daily vehicle movements, trips, deliveries, and operational performance.
• Identify delays, exceptions, and operational issues and ensure timely resolution.
• Coordinate with Operations, Transport, Warehouse, Drivers, Vendors, and Customer teams.
• Establish and monitor operational KPIs, SLAs, and performance metrics.
• Ensure timely escalation and closure of critical operational issues.
• Analyse operational data and identify trends, gaps, and opportunities for improvement.
• Prepare and review daily/weekly MIS reports and operational dashboards.
• Drive process improvements to enhance visibility, efficiency, service quality, and utilisation.
• Lead and develop the Control Tower team and ensure effective shift-wise coverage.

Requirements

• 6-10 years of experience in Control Tower, Logistics Operations, Transportation, Fleet Management, or Supply Chain.
• Strong experience in real-time operations monitoring and exception management.
• Excellent coordination, communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong understanding of logistics and transportation operations.
• Good working knowledge of MS Excel, dashboards, and ERP/TMS systems.
• Ability to manage multiple operational priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong leadership, stakeholder management, and decision-making skills.
• High sense of ownership and accountability.
• Prior experience in cold-chain or temperature-controlled logistics will be an added advantage.
