What they need

About The Team As a Control Tower Specialist, you are the central nervous system of our logistics network. Your primary mission is to synchronize our fleet with fluctuating seller demands and warehouse capacities. You will be responsible for the real-time allocation and adjustment of trucking resources to ensure every package hits its fulfillment milestone and meets our On-Time SLA.

Job Description

  • Daily Resource Planning: Arrange and allocate truck capacity based on daily volume forecasts from sellers and warehouse requirements.
  • Dynamic Adjustments: Monitor live operations and pivot truck assignments on the fly to account for delays, volume surges, or mechanical issues. Handle ad‑hoc operational issues in real time, such as truck no‑shows, delays, capacity gaps, routing changes, and last‑minute volume fluctuations.
  • SLA Management: Directly influence and track Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), specifically focusing on Order Fulfillment Rate and On-Time Delivery/Pickup.
  • Stakeholder Coordination: Act as the primary bridge between Sellers, Warehouse Managers, and 3PL (Third-Party Logistics) partners to resolve bottlenecks.
  • Data Monitoring: Utilize the Transport Management System (TMS) to track truck movements and identify potential SLA breaches before they happen.
  • Process Improvement: Support development and standardization of control tower SOPs, playbooks, and monitoring tools.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Business, or related field.
  • 1–3 years of experience in logistics / transportation / operations planning or similar roles (e‑commerce logistics is a plus).
  • Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills, with the ability to make sound decisions under time pressure.
  • Good understanding of truck operations, routing, capacity planning, or network operations.
  • Ability to work with operational data and dashboards to identify issues, trends, and improvement opportunities.
  • Strong coordination and communication skills to work with cross‑functional teams
  • Comfortable working in a fast‑paced, high‑volume environment with frequent changes and real‑time issue handling.
  • Proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets and basic data analysis; experience with operations systems is an advantage.
  • Willingness to work in shifts / extended hours when required by operational needs.
