Controller

We're partnering with a private equity-backed, high-growth field-based services company seeking a hands-on Controller/Head of Finance & Accounting to help build and scale the finance and accounting function. This is a highly visible opportunity to lead the accounting function, partner with operations, and help build the financial infrastructure of a rapidly growing business. Reports to CEO.

Must be based in SF and willing to spend time onsite in East Bay area 3-4x/week.

Key Qualifications

• Controller or Assistant Controller experience with full ownership of the accounting function
• Direct POC/WIP accounting experience in a project-based or field services environment
• Strong GAAP, month-end close, and financial reporting expertise
• Hands-on, roll-up-your-sleeves mentality with the ability to build processes
• Experience partnering with operations and project teams
• Private equity, high-growth, or acquisitive company experience preferred
