Controller — Anaheim, CA (on-site)

About the Role We're seeking a hands-on Controller to lead the finance function for this business unit. This is a high-visibility seat with direct responsibility for billing, collections, reporting, and building scalable financial infrastructure to support continued growth — with a clear path to grow into a broader corporate controllership over time.

What You'll Do

• Lead the month-end close process and ensure timely, accurate financial reporting
• Prepare monthly reporting packages, including variance analysis and actionable insights
• Oversee billing, fees, collections, and receivables performance across a portfolio of recurring accounts
• Manage accounts payable, balance sheet reconciliations, and general ledger integrity
• Evaluate and improve accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow planning
• Coordinate annual audit activities and serve as primary liaison to external auditors
• Develop and enhance KPI reporting to drive operational and financial performance
• Partner on system and process improvements, including a legacy-to-cloud ERP transition

What You Bring

• 7+ years of progressive accounting experience, including people management
• CPA or CMA preferred
• Experience with ERP implementations or system conversions
• Manufacturing or operating-company background a plus
• Must be able to work fully on-site
