Job Description

Summary
The Accounting & Finance role is responsible for providing accounting and finance services, including the production of financial reports, creation of business plans, writing business assessments, maintenance of internal books and records, and a comprehensive set of controls and budgets. The role is designed to mitigate risk, enhance the accuracy of the company's and our clients reported financial results, and ensure that reported results comply with generally accepted accounting principles. The role is also responsible for all aspects of financial risk (Interest Rate Risk, Liquidity Risk, and Capital Risk) which includes the measurement of compliance and cash management.

We take an active role in the accounting and financial functions and identify and implement courses of action to assist companies through transition. We assist with capital raises and identify investment opportunities for our capital partners.

Role & Responsibilities

● Planning, directing, and coordinating all accounting operational functions

● Establishing and implementing processes and procedures

● Managing the accumulation and consolidation of all financial data necessary for an accurate accounting of consolidated business results

● Coordinating and preparing financial statements

● Coordinating activities of external auditors

● Providing management with information vital to the decision-making process

● Managing the budget process

● Implementing accounting software and supporting database, as needed

● Developing and monitoring business performance metrics

● Overseeing regulatory reporting, frequently including tax planning and compliance

● Providing management with forecasts of the company's profit and loss (income statement) and operating performance for the upcoming quarter and year (FP&A)

Requirements

● 2+ years of relevant experience

● Bachelor’s degree (in finance or accounting, a plus)

● Certified Public Accountant (CPA) accreditation a plus

● Ability to function in a fast paced, frequently changing environment

● Strong attention to detail, ability to work efficiently and complete projects assigned in a timely manner

● Strong organizational skills and ability to handle multiple tasks

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $90,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year
