Controller

Overview
We are seeking an experienced full-time GL Controller for our location in Bee Cave, TX. As a GL Controller, you will oversee general ledger accounting, prepare accurate financial statements, maintain compliance with accounting policies, and ensure timely month-end and year-end closings. Responsibilities also include managing account reconciliations, maintaining the WIP schedule, streamlining financial reporting processes, and collaborating with various departments to support financial operations. This role is on-site and requires a proactive mindset with excellent attention to detail.

Duties

• Manage and oversee all aspects of general ledger accounting, including account reconciliation, journal entries, and month-end/year-end closing processes.
• Ensure accuracy and completeness of financial data through balance sheet reconciliation and account analysis.
• Prepare and review financial reports, including statements, budgets, forecasts, and regulatory filings.
• Conduct cash management activities including cash flow forecasting and liquidity analysis.
• Implement and monitor internal controls related to financial reporting and operational processes.
• Support external audits by providing necessary documentation and explanations of financial data.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA or CMA certification a plus.
• Proven experience in general ledger accounting with a strong understanding of double entry bookkeeping principles.
• Experience with enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems and financial analysis tools
• Experience with eCMS and or CGC Construction Management software with green screen knowledge a plus
• Exceptional problem-solving, organizational, and time-management skills
• Prior experience in the construction or infrastructure industry is strongly preferred
• Strong interpersonal communication skills and a team-oriented approach to collaborative projects
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $75,000.00 - $125,000.00 per year
