Job Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Controller to lead our financial operations and ensure the integrity of our construction project finances. In this pivotal role, you will oversee budgeting, cost management, financial reporting, and compliance across multiple infrastructure projects. Your expertise in construction management software, project scheduling, and regulatory standards will drive the financial success of our projects while maintaining strict adherence to industry regulations. Responsibilities

• Develop, monitor, and control project budgets, ensuring accurate cost estimation and financial tracking throughout each phase of construction projects.
• Utilize construction management software such as ProCore, Primavera P6, Prolog, HeavyBid, and other industry-standard tools to coordinate schedules, manage costs, and track project progress.
• Oversee project scheduling and timeline coordination by managing construction schedules using Primavera P6 and other scheduling tools to ensure timely project delivery.
• Lead financial reporting efforts by preparing detailed reports on project costs, budgets, and financial forecasts for stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with all construction regulations, safety standards, and contractual obligations by reviewing plans, schematics, blueprints, and construction documents.
• Manage teams involved in construction estimating, project management, and cost control activities to optimize performance and accountability.
• Collaborate with project managers and field teams to review construction plans and schematics for accuracy and feasibility while managing change orders effectively.
• Maintain comprehensive records of contracts, invoices, change orders, and regulatory documentation to support audit readiness and transparency.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives by analyzing project data to identify efficiencies in construction schedule coordination and cost management processes.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in construction management or finance roles within the commercial or infrastructure construction sectors.
• Strong proficiency with project management software such as ProCore, Primavera P6 (Primavera), Prolog, HeavyBid, Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word), Civil 3D, Construction scheduling tools, and other industry-specific applications.
• Extensive knowledge of construction estimating techniques, contract administration, blueprint reading, schematics interpretation, and construction regulatory compliance.
• Demonstrated ability to manage complex infrastructure projects from inception through completion while maintaining budget integrity.
• Excellent leadership skills with experience managing teams in a construction management environment focused on project scheduling and cost control.
• Deep understanding of construction site operations combined with strong time management skills to meet tight deadlines.
• Familiarity with heavy civil projects including managing construction plans for large-scale infrastructure developments.
• Effective communication skills to coordinate across multiple teams including subcontractors, clients, vendors, and regulatory agencies.

Pay: $112,896.65 - $211,875.53 per year
