Compensation: $200K+ base + 10% bonus, with flexibility for the right candidate

About the Role

CornerStone Professional Placement is partnering with a fast-growing, multi entity professional services organization to hire a Controller. This role will lead accounting across a multi-entity, multi-site organization while supporting continued growth through acquisitions.

We’re looking for a technically strong Controller who has operated in an acquisitive environment and understands the complexity that comes with consolidating multiple entities, integrating new businesses, and building scalable accounting processes.

What You'll Do

• Lead accounting operations across multiple entities and locations
• Own the month-end close, consolidations and intercompany accounting
• Maintain accurate financial reporting across the organization
• Support accounting and finance integration of newly acquired businesses
• Partner with leadership on technical accounting matters
• Strengthen accounting processes, controls and reporting
• Improve systems and workflows as the organization continues to scale
• Help create consistency across acquired businesses and operating locations

What You Bring

• Strong Controller-level technical accounting experience
• Experience owning accounting across multiple entities and locations
• Experience in a private-equity-backed or highly acquisitive organization
• Hands-on exposure to roll-ups, acquisitions or post-close integration
• Ability to operate effectively in a fast-growing, evolving environment

Preferred

• Professional services experience
• Experience integrating acquired entities into a common accounting structure
• Strong accounting systems and process-improvement background
• Phoenix-area location
