ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Financial Reporting & Analysis

• Responsible for managing the monthly closing process to ensure timely and accurate presentation financial results. This includes managing the distribution of all internal and external financial reports.
• Responsible for all financial analysis (Profit & Loss, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow, Budget to Actual Variance, etc.) and recommending corrective actions to improve profitability and cash flow.
• Maintain focus on achieving Company objectives.

Budgeting & Forecasting

• Responsible for general support of all aspects of the annual budgeting and quarterly forecasting process.
• Work with all functional departments to gather reliable information and present results in a flexible model that allows easy and quick changes.

Cost Accounting

• Responsible for timely and accurate analysis of all manufacturing operations, including standard costs, inventory valuation, manufacturing improvements and budget variances.
• Standardize costing and financial operations
• Develop process to provide timely analysis and corrective actions to key managers with the objective of maintaining low cost production.

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE and REQUIREMENTS

4-7 years in a manufacturing environment or manufacturing consulting

3-5 years financial analysis experience

3-5 years cost accounting experience, preferred not required.

Bachelors in Accounting or Finance with CPA designation preferred

Must be trained and fully understand US GAAP

Willing and able to work extra hours during month end close

Positive leader

Advanced spreadsheets skills (Excel) and ability to update and maintain automated financial reporting package

Supervisory experience required

Experience with integrated ERP system, with experience in implementing a systems change a plus

Analytical tools – Access, Crystal Reporting; experience is a plus

Pay: $75,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year
