Controller

SNI Financial has partnered with a company in the Mid-Cities area that is looking to add a Controller to their team.They are ideally looking for someone with NetSuite experience who has managed a team for at least 2 years. Multi-entity accounting experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the day-to-day accounting operations, including general ledger, month-end close, reconciliations, and financial reporting
• Lead and develop a team of accounting professionals
• Manage accounting activities across multiple entities
• Ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial statements and accounting records
• Oversee the month-end and year-end close processes
• Review account reconciliations, journal entries, and supporting schedules
• Analyze financial results and provide meaningful insights to leadership
• Establish and maintain effective accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls
• Partner with leadership and other departments on financial and operational matters
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning
• Utilize NetSuite to manage and improve accounting processes and reporting
• Identify opportunities to improve processes, efficiencies, and controls

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• 7+ years of progressive accounting experience
• Prior Controller or strong Accounting Manager experience
• At least 2 years of team management experience
• Strong experience with NetSuite
• Multi-entity accounting experience preferred
• Strong understanding of GAAP, month-end close, reconciliations, and financial reporting
