Job Duties

• Preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements for outside accounting firm.
• Support in analyzing financial data and preparing management reports.
• Perform daily accounting tasks such as reconciliations, journal entries, and adjusting entries.
• Ensuring accounts payable remain current.
• Completes internal reporting and communication as required.
• Reviews accounting records for accuracy.
• Maintain compliance with local and state licensing requirements for offices and employees.
• Maintain records of employee testing and continuing education hours to comply with state requirements.
• Assist in evaluating and improving accounting processes and systems.
• Monitor financial performance and provide actionable insights to support decision-making.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in accounting.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, complex formulas).
• Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Strong organizational and time management abilities.
• Ability to communicate effectively and work well within a team.
• Experience with financial reporting and general ledger functions.

Pay: $60,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
