What you’ll do

• Lead, mentor, and review the work of a small, experienced accounting team.
• Own month-end close, inventory accounting, and financial reporting in QuickBooks Online.
• Build automated and AI-enabled workflows that make accounting faster for everyone.
• Partner with buying, marketing, and operations on processes like expense reporting, and earn their buy-in.
• Help shape the team as the business grows.

What you bring

• Controller or Assistant Controller experience. Strong Assistant Controllers ready to step up are encouraged to apply.
• Hands-on QuickBooks Online experience.
• Inventory accounting experience, ideally in retail, CPG, or e-commerce.
• Experience building automation or AI workflows.
• A confident communicator who gets to know the business before changing it, and who wins people over rather than dictating.
• A CPA and a love of fashion are both a plus.
