ROLE SUMMARY

As we grow, we’re looking for a Controller to lead our accounting function. You’ll ensure GAAP compliance, accurate financial reporting, and audit readiness — while building scalable processes that support our expansion across e-commerce and retail channels.

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING

• Own month-end close and the financial close package, including consolidations and intercompany eliminations
• Maintain and implement GAAP-compliant accounting policies
• Oversee AP/AR, inventory, payroll compliance, and treasury functions
• Establish internal controls, approval workflows, and segregation of duties
• Drive adoption and optimization of NetSuite ERP across Accounting workflows
• Coordinate with external firms on audits, tax filings, and compliance matters
• Lead, mentor, and develop the accounting team

WHAT YOU BRING

• 10+ years of progressive accounting experience, including a combination of public accounting (Big 4 or national/regional firm preferred) and senior-level industry accounting roles
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP and intercompany accounting, with hands-on experience in revenue recognition across wholesale and DTC/subscription channels, inventory costing, and trade spend and promotional accruals
• Background in CPG or high-growth e-commerce (required)
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance (required)
• CPA license (required)
• Expertise in NetSuite ERP or equivalent (strongly preferred)
• Proven experience leading and developing accounting teams, with strong project management skills
• Comfortable managing competing priorities and deadlines in a fully remote team

Pay: $150,000.00 - $175,000.00 per year
