Controller - Private Equity backed Commercial Services

Our client is a fast growing field based recurring revenue B2B services business. The company operates in 20+ states and continues to expand, primarily through tuck in acquisitions. They're backed by a leading, reputable private equity firm.

The company has an opportunity for a strong accounting leader to joined as their Corporate Controller. The successful candidate will be a key member of the company’s finance and accounting function and will interact with all disciplines in the company, at all levels. S/he will be involved in preparing the annual financial plan, reporting operational results, performing the month-end close and related activities, analyzing performance to plan, tackling special projects, and providing effective everyday problem -solving and decision-making.

Must have Experiences:

• Minimum of 7+ years of Accounting / Finance experience, ideally in a fast growing, nimble, private equity owned, recurring revenue, B2B services business model.
• This is a great opportunity for an Accounting Manager or Assistant Controller to step up and into the number two role in a fast growing PE deal.
• A solid foundation in accounting theory and accounting standards is necessary. Exposure to administrative and operational responsibilities, budgeting and forecasting, consolidations, and transaction purchase accounting.
• Well-developed management skills. Strong analytical and reasoning skills. Sound and demonstrated administrative skills. Superior numeric skills and problem-solving abilities.
• Strong organizational skills. Strong interpersonal skills. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Very strong Excel skills with an ability to integrate and format data from different sources into an integrated analysis that identifies implementable actions.
• Experience working with and maximizing use of ERP systems.
• CPA strongly preferred.
