Controls Automation Engineer / PLC

You have experience and passion in:

• Developing and implementing software solutions for programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and operator interfaces within a modern industrial environment.
• Integrating diverse technological equipment, drive systems, and mechanisms for automated material and flow handling.
• Diagnosing, troubleshooting, and optimizing communication between the machine level and higher-level control software platforms.
• Applying modern standards for reliability, safety, and high equipment efficiency.

Key Responsibilities and Project Participation:

• Designing, programming, and testing software applications for industrial controllers and visualization systems.
• Configuring and integrating specialized machinery, material transport modules, drives (VFD/servo), and network interfaces.
• Participating in Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT), Site Acceptance Testing (SAT), on-site commissioning, and initial startup of production facilities.
• Providing expert technical support (both remote and on-site) during deployment phases.
• Analyzing and resolving complex technical issues related to hardware, software, and communication networks.
• Preparing comprehensive technical documentation, functional specifications, and maintaining software version control.

Requirements:

• Completed higher or technical education (Automation, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related field).
• Solid professional experience (minimum 3–5 years) in industrial automation and PLC platforms.
• Practical knowledge in industrial networks, fieldbuses, and functional safety systems.
• Experience with Motion Control and successful commissioning of industrial equipment.
• Readiness for short business travel and a valid driver's license.
• Excellent communication skills for working in a dynamic environment and fluency in English.
