Now we’re looking for an Electrical Controls Engineer who wants to own complex systems, lead meaningful projects, and mentor a team that looks to you for answers. **What You’ll Do**

You’ll step into the paper converting side of the business—where precision and speed meet every day. Your work will span from the drawing board to the factory floor:

• Specify, design, implement, and maintain complex controls systems and software for production equipment and associated machinery.

• Program PLCs and HMIs with confidence, and troubleshoot industrial control setups when things get tricky.

• Lead capital projects ranging from $50K to $500K—managing timelines, budgets, and outcomes.

• Train and coach Controls Technicians, helping them level up their troubleshooting skills.

• Collaborate directly with customers to solve equipment issues, and be the go-to person when a problem needs a sharp mind.

• Be on call when production needs you—because reliability matters here.

**What You Bring**

• A BS in Electrical Engineering or Electronics—non-negotiable.

• At least 3 years of hands-on experience with PLC and HMI programming in a manufacturing environment.

• Strong project management and leadership skills—you’ve led projects before and know how to bring a team along.

• DCS experience is a big plus.

• A background in consumer products or high-speed manufacturing is preferred, but we’ll consider any manufacturing industry if you’ve got the skills.

• The ability to supervise, coach, and train technicians—not just direct, but develop.

• A willingness to be on call and a mindset that says, “I’ll figure it out.”
