Controls Engineer

Job Description Summary:

The main function of a control engineer is to design and oversee the production of many types of complex systems and equipment.

Job Responsibilities:

• Research, test, and analyze the design use in relation to the function of the elements in the system.
• Communicate technical information to all levels of business.
• Maintain PLC, Medium and Low voltage modules like switch gears, MCC, VFD, Generators, Battery charger etc.

Skills:

• Self-starter with the ability to work with minimal instruction and provide technical support to others.
• Experience in Design of Electrical system (Lube oil, Vibration, fuel, turbine, etc.).
• Panel Layout & BOM using Promise software or equivalent for Gas turbines or any power generation package.
• Ability to communicate technical information effectively at all levels of the business.
• Strong work experience in PLC, Medium and Low voltage modules like switch gears, MCC, VFD, Generators, Battery charger etc.

Education/Experience:

• Bachelors or Master's degree in Engineering required and some business/functional knowledge and/or industry experience preferred.
