Controls Engineer

We are seeking an Controls Engineer (PLC Engineer) for the non-standard automation industry.

Job Responsibilities:

1.Provide electrical technical support for local U.S. projects, resolve electrical control issues during the Site Acceptance Test (SAT) phase, complete electrical drawing revisions and program optimization in accordance with company standards, and ensure closed-loop fault resolution.

2.Implement electrical-related design changes at U.S. customer sites, provide installation guidance (wiring and termination inspection), perform power-on commissioning and safety verification, and ensure compliance with customer standards.

3.For Engineering Change Request (ECR) retrofit projects at U.S. customer sites, take charge of the electrical scope, including on-site surveys, solution development, quotation support, and document preparation, and drive order conversion.

4.Regularly review electrical fault cases from U.S. site projects, summarize root causes and improvement recommendations, and produce lessons-learned and feedback documentation.

5.Assist in driving the acceptance of North American projects, handle customer complaints related to electrical issues, and improve customer satisfaction.

Requirements:

1.Bachelor's degree or higher in Electrical Engineering, Automation, or a related field.

2.Above 2 years of experience in electrical design or on-site commissioning of non-standard automation equipment; experience in after-sales support for lithium battery production lines is preferred.

3.Proficient in EPLAN, or other electrical design software; excel in PLC platforms like Siemens, AB and with the ability to independently debug and modify programs.

4.Familiar with CE/UL project certification processes and on-site electrical safety codes.

5.Be able to independently conduct technical meetings with U.S. customers.

6.Strong communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills. Willing to travel as required by service projects.
