About the Role

Are you a Controls Engineer who enjoys getting hands-on with machinery, solving technical problems and keeping production moving? I'm currently supporting multiple engineering contractor requirements across Michigan, working on projects connected to General Motors (GM). We're looking to connect with experienced Controls Engineers, Automation Engineers and PLC specialists for a range of contract opportunities supporting automotive manufacturing and production-line equipment.

Responsibilities

• Getting hands-on with machinery
• Solving technical problems
• Keeping production moving
• Supporting automotive manufacturing and production-line equipment
• Working on projects connected to General Motors (GM)

Required Skills

• PLC troubleshooting, fault-finding and debugging
• Siemens S7 and TIA Portal
• Allen-Bradley PLCs and industrial control systems
• Industrial automation, robotics and production-line equipment
• Controls commissioning, installation support and system diagnostics
• Tooling, machine integration and resolving production issues
• Comfortable working hands-on with industrial equipment
