Controls Engineering Software Tools Architect

We are looking for a Controls Engineering Software Tools Architect to build and modernize the software tools, automation frameworks, and engineering libraries used by global controls teams.

Experience: 8+ Years

Key Requirements:

• Strong PLC/HMI/SCADA experience – Rockwell, Siemens, GE/Emerson

• Python, C#, or PowerShell for engineering automation

• PLC/HMI code generation and template-driven automation

• Experience with UDFBs, AOIs, Function Blocks, Faceplates, and reusable controls libraries

• Strong Git, branching, pull requests, and CI/CD experience

• OOP and software architecture principles

• APIs, SDKs, middleware, and ERP/MES/PLM integrations

• Industrial automation / controls software development experience

Preferred:

• MBSE / Digital Twin

• Cloud/Industrial IoT

• Automated testing

• Developer tools, SDKs, or engineering platforms
