Controls Integrator - Apex, NC

Overall Activities: We currently have an opening for a Controls Integrator in our Apex, NC office. This position will involve the design, programming and configuration of controls systems including PLC, HMI, SCADA and other components to ensure proper system operation, as well as data acquisition and visualization.

Qualifications and Experience:

• 5+ years of controls engineering experience.
• Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Technology or Computer Science or equivalent experience.
• Proficiency with PLC ladder logic, HMI, and SCADA development packages, Rockwell PLCs, FTV ME/SE, and Ignition preferred.
• Proficiency with Windows-based operating systems, word processing and spreadsheets
• Ability to read and interpret P&ID and electrical controls drawings.
• Experienced in conducting Factory Acceptance Testing and documentation.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Must be a self-starter with the ability to work independently and in a team environment.
• Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize and juggle multiple tasks.
• Flexibility and the ability to work in variable conditions.
• Interested in continually learning and developing new skills.

Training or Experience with the following is a plus:

• Experience with Visual Basic, Python or SQL programming languages.
• Knowledge of computer networking and configuration.
• Experience with the installation of control panels and instrumentation.
• GAMP® validation and commissioning.
• Experience with Siemens PLCs.
• Experience with relational database management systems, such as MSSQL.
• Experience with reporting and data visualization platforms, such as SSRS, Ignition, and Power BI.
