What they need
Be part of the team building a brand new TNT plant in Western Kentucky. This is the first TNT plant in the US since 1986. This TNT facility is using state-of-the-art automation and a novel waste neutralization process to make it one of the most high-tech, safe and environmentally friendly TNT plants ever constructed. They are using the same chemical process as in 1986 but with a different production method altogether. There won't be any wastewater, and it will be done in a way to not put out the pollutants.
U.S. investment comes courtesy of a $435 million military contract to build and operate the first domestic source of the explosive chemical.
Summary The Control Systems Engineer is responsible for engineering assurance of all control, automation, and safety instrumented systems for the TNT Project. The role ensures that control system architecture, hardware, software, and cybersecurity are fit for purpose, compliant, and support safe operation, commissioning, and long term asset reliability. Following commissioning, the role transitions to a site based Controls Engineer supporting plant operations.
